Women LWML

Formed in October of 1948, our LWML group shares the same anniversary as the formation of our church. We have been active in the church, community, district, state, synod, and world. God has richly blessed our efforts through His Word and Sacraments. We currently have one society that meets at Peace Lutheran on the 1st Thursday of every month at 1:30 p.m. (with quarterly business meetings).

Ongoing projects include:

• Quilts, layettes, and school kits for Orphan Grain Train
• Gift cards for seminarians
• Support for Crossroads and Senior Action Service
• Other projects as needs arise

All ladies are warmly invited to participate!

Men Men’s Steak Night

All men are invited for steak and fellowship at 6:00 p.m. (eat around 6:30) and a short Bible Study starting at 7:00 p.m. First-time guests eat free; regular attendees $12 to cover the meal. We often play cards and enjoy beverages after study.

Time: 6:00 p.m. (meal ~6:30) • Study at 7:00 p.m. Cost: $12 (first time is free)

Summer schedule: on break until the fall.

Youth Youth Groups

Peace Lutheran has two youth groups:

• Junior Youth Group (Grades 5–8): Meets the 2nd & 4th Sundays of the month from 4:00–6:00 p.m. In the spring, this group may attend the Camp Comeca Catechetical Retreat (see the Announcements page).
• LYF — Lutheran Youth Fellowship (Grades 9–12): Our Senior High group. We’re excited to welcome our new confirmands to LYF!
