Catechesis is teaching. In the last chapter of Matthew, teaching is part of what Jesus instructed His apostles to do to make disciples of all nations (baptizing and teaching them). In the church, teaching isn't just about cramming information into our heads, but rather, the hearing and study of God's Word is used by the Holy Spirit to create and sustain faith. That means that catechesis is for all ages and for all times in life; and that means enrollment in catechesis can take place while still in the womb, and our funeral service could also be considered our graduation ceremony.
In addition to worship services, there are a number of opportunities for study at Peace, and there are a number of resources for being in the Word of God at home and as a family.
